Getting so big! The pants that fit 3 weeks ago when I sent them to daycare as backup now look 2 sizes too small (apparently some baby spilled out the contents of his sippy cup and Abby sat in it, hence the wearing of the reserves). Add to the long legs a couple of giant feet and there's no doubt she's her mother's daughter.

As much as I love my Kindle, nothing will ever take the place of watching Abigail sit quietly reading a book. In this case it's Mr. Brown. He's a wonder, or so I'm told.

Abigail working hard on her laptop. Actually, she's trying to merge the remote and the laptop into one all purpose electronic. Has this been invented yet? It just was.

Abby pushing her giraffe-mobile. She almost never watches tv but goes totally giddy for Elmo. When she sees him she lights up and says "Bla-bahh!", whether it's on a tv, on a shirt or on the diaper box. It's her third word behind "doggie" and "hi". If you had asked me a year ago to bet what her first words would be, I definitely would have lost.

I'm going to try my best to keep up with my friends and post a picture a day in 2012. Who knows, maybe it will get me blogging more.
